Acrylic GlazingFraming sells only continuous cast acrylic. It is more break resistant, lighter in weight, optically more distortion free, and provides more ultra violet protection than regular glass. Acrylic is one eighth inch thick.Warning: Do not clean with glass cleaner or paper products! Use a plastic cleaner like Warp's
and a lint free cloth.
Regular clear acrylic is perfectly colorless and optically similar to regular single-strength glass. It is economical and provides adequate ultra violet filtering for most applications.

Ultra Violet Filtering Acrylic filters out virtually all of the ultraviolet light that fades pigments and destroys paper and cloth fiber. To achieve maximum longevity of color photos ultraviolet filtering is the best glazing option.
